The Club

RHUL Lacrosse is one of the largest mixed sex clubs on campus, starting in 2004 with 2 mixed teams and developing in 2006 to the club as we know it today. We field four teams (Men's, Women's and 2 Mixed) and welcome players of all abilities; from complete novices to experienced lax players. Each team trains once a week (see "our teams" for more info) and usually plays at least one match per week, so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved! Last year Royal Holloway Lacrosse performed extremely well, finishing 1st in the mixed league, and placing 3rd in first division BUCS for women's and  4th in men's, and both teams perfoming well in their respective club leagues too! So we have a strong reputation to uphold in the coming season!

Although we take the game seriously on pitch, we are also a very sociable, friendly and welcoming club, holding socials every week, usually at the Happy Man just opposite campus, but sometimes at more exciting locations, such as the tube stop dash, Colours Ball and of course, tour! We also do our bit for RAG and community action, organising charity days and helping out with volunteering projects, which members can use towards university volunetering awards. In 2011 we won the award for best charity day on campus. There are many varied and exciting events and opportunities thoughout the year so why not get involved!
