Mixed Lacrosse

RHUL lacrosse began 8 years ago with mixed teams which have encompassed the spirit of the club ever since. We have two mixed lacrosse teams, split by ability. The mixed firsts are traditionally the most sucessful team at Royal Holloway, winning the ULU league many times including last season (2011-2012). This years captian Toby Andrews (top goal scorer of the previous two seasons) plans to recreate this sucess in the new LUSL league this year, with a fun atmosphere both on and off the pitch. With many victories comes many victorious drinking sessions, with a mixture of casual and messy nights out planned for the season.

The mixed seconds team is more recreational, capturing the team sprirt and fun of playing a sport at Royal Holloway; although still competing separately in the ULU league. This team offers a fantasitc way for beginners to learn the skills needed to become a great player. Whether you join to keep your fitness up, feed your competitive side or to simply indulge in the drinking traditions of RHUL Lacrosse, then mixed seconds are for you!

Mixed lacrosse is a great way to improve stick skills as well as socialise with others in the club.

Both teams train at Nobles Field on Friday evening

7-9pm.
